D'Arcy, Masius, Benton, & Bowles/St. Louis is reportedly one
of the "front-runners" to pick up the advertising assignment for
the Miller Genuine Draft brands under a review by Miller Brewing
Company, according to Oscar Waters of the ST. LOUIS POST-
DISPATCH. DMB&B was the longtime ad agency for Anheuser-Busch
until A-B switched to DDB Needham Worldwide last year. DMB&B and
Young Rubicam/ New York are the finalists among agencies for the
estimated $50M-75M ad account for Miller Genuine Draft and MGD
Light. The account is currently handled by Bates USA/New York
(Oscar Waters, ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH, 9/18).
