GOLF CHANNEL SIGNS UP TWO MORE CABLE SYSTEMS

     The Golf Channel has announced distribution deals with
multi-system cable operators Cox Communications and Cablevision
Systems, according to GOLFWEEK EXTRA.  Cox is the country's
fourth-largest MSO with close to 3.2 million subscribers.
Cablevision is the 7th largest MSO with more than 2.6 million
homes.  The Golf Channel now has deals with six of the 10 largest
MSOs in the nation, and will begin a new program this week in
conjunction of the PGA of America to offer PGA professionals
special rates and the DBS hardware to receive the channel
(GOLFWEEK EXTRA, 8/31).
