PROFESSIONAL SPORTS PUBLICATIONS RESPONDS TO BARKLEY'S SUIT

     Professional Sports Publications, publishers of "Hoop
Magazine," ad agency Fallon McElligott, and Nikon have been named
in a lawsuit by Charles Barkley, claiming they used a photo of
him without proper consent.  Jarred Metze, President of
Professional Sports Publications, responded to the suit
yesterday, saying they "had every right to use the photograph of
Charles Barkely in the manner in which it was presented and
neither Nikon Inc. Fallon McElligott, nor PSP have done anything
wrong. ... PSP understands its responsibilities in this situation
and is working to resolve the issue with Mr. Barkley as quickly
as possible" (PSP).
