     Former Blues Owner Harry Ornest is reportedly part of a
group trying to "outmaneuver" CO developer Philip Anschutz for
control of the L.A. Kings.  Ornest has allied with fellow
Hollywood Park exec R.D. Hubbard, Magic Johnson and partners
Jerry Buss and Frank Mariani (TORONTO STAR, 8/1)....The Packers
may end holding exhibition games at Camp Randall Stadium at the
Univ. of WI after this year, but team officials say they have yet
to make a decision (MILAWUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 7/31)....Single-
game tickets for the NFL Panthers go on sale today (CHARLOTTE
OBSERVER, 8/1).
