EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

     Group W Sports Marketing GWSM has developed a sales team for
the Capital region sports that handles the Bullets, Capitals, and
Orioles TV Network.  RUDY TAYLOR has been promoted to Dir/Sports
Sales, and DANA SCOTT FITZGERALD has been named Manager/Sports
Sales (GWSM)....Shareholder of Republic Waste Industries will
vote on a plan to make WAYNE HUIZENGA Chair and move the company
to FL.  The vote, which is expected to pass, will merge the
company with a waste-management firm owned by Huizenga's brother-
in-law, WHIT HUDSON (FT. LAUDERDALE SUN SENTINEL, 7/28).
