EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

     Time Warner Sports has announced the following appointments:
DANIEL YORK has been named GM of Time Warner Sports/TVKO.  He was
formerly Dir/Central Region; MICHELLE WEBER has been promoted to
Dir of National Marketing and Promotion.  She was formerly
Marketing Manager; FRANK ROMANO has been named Dir of Ops and
Finance.  He was formerly Manager of Finance (CRAIN'S NEW YORK
BUSINESS, 7/31 issue). ....PAUL LUFKIN, former CEO of Five Star
Marketing and the Galles Corp., has joined Bob Woolf Assoc. as
Managing Dir  with responsibility for Motorsports and sports
sponsorship (Woolf)....GEORGE CASE III, former VP of Sales for
Pony USA and National Sales Manager for Pony Sports and Leisure,
has started his own sports management and marketing business
called Sports Marketing Consulting Services (Sports Marketing
Consulting)...The Eagles have announced that Dir of Alumni
Relations and Traveling Secretary JIM GALLAGHER will retire
August 1 (PHILADELPHIA DAILY NEWS, 7/25).
