MARKETPLACE ROUND-UP

     The Buccaneers' choice of Baltimore-based Leffler Agency to
handle their $1M marketing account has raised some eyebrows in
the Tampa area, with some still concerned the team will end up in
Baltimore.  Agency head Bob Leffler: "It's just a coincidence I'm
from Baltimore."  Leffler said he will open a Tampa office during
the season (ST. PETE TIMES, 7/19).....SkyBox Int'l and the Boys &
Girls Clubs of America will continue their national citizenship
development program, where SkyBox recognizes Club members for
their academic success, athletic participation and community
service (SkyBox)....Arnold Palmer Golf Management, Co. of
Orlando, FL, will manage the "historic" Presidio Golf Course in
San Francisco.  The Palmer Management Co. signed a ten-year deal
and will open the course to the public (SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE,
7/20)....Westinghouse, rumored to be preparing an offer for CBS,
might sell its Westinghouse Communities unit, which owns Bighorn
Golf Club in Palm Desert, CA.  A Westinghouse official said the
sale will not affect The Skins Game, scheduled for Bighorn in
November (GOLF WEEK, 7/20)....Market Media, Inc. has joined with
Winn-Dixie Stores of FL to sell its Floor Focus Ad-tiles in the
chain's 1,217 supermarkets.  Market Media's parent, BPI Packaging
Technologies, estimates the tiles could generate up to $15M in
annual sales by '96. No advertisers have been announced (AD AGE
ONLINE, 7/20)....The Islanders say feedback to their new logo at
their minicamp has been positive.  Islanders VP Pat Calabria:
"The response, according to our sales representatives, has been
over 90% in favor.  And the merchandise with the new logo is
flying off the shelves, so that's a real indication (NEWSDAY,
7/20).
