REMEMBER, IT'S ALL ABOUT RATINGS: ALL-STAR GAME RUN-DOWN

     "Fewer people are watching baseball on television this
season and that spells trouble for the All-Star Game," according
to Steve Zipay.  "In fact, several sports business and television
executives expect Tuesday night's telecast from The Ballpark in
Arlington will be the lowest-rated All-Star Game in at least 10
years" (NEWSDAY, 7/9).  Here are All-Star ratings from the last
