NOMO LOOKING AT DEALS, BUT CURRENTLY NO VIDEO FOR HIDEO

     Don Numora, President of KDN Sports and representative for
Hideo Nomo, says endorsement deals for Nomo are "lined up" and,
while they "haven't signed anything," they are now "trying to
sort out and dish out things."  Numora told THE SPORTS BUSINESS
DAILY that he and his client are "looking into" deals in both the
U.S. and Japan.  Numora: "If it is something that is going to
enhance his image, we are more than aggressive to do that."
Numora said Nomo's success "without a doubt" has been
instrumental in boosting sales of MLB merchandise and Dodgers
paraphernalia in Japan.  Numora the language barrier has not
presented obstacles in securing endorsements for Nomo, but he
added, "I haven't received any offers on TV ads in the United
States" (THE DAILY).
