LIQUID LUNCH: MILLER WANTS CONSUMERS TO "THINK BIG"

     Miller Brewing Co. is introducing its new Big Sky brand -- a
"below premium" beer which is cheaper than Miller Lite and
Budweiser.  Big Sky and Big Sky Light will debut Monday, and be
sold initially in WI.  If it does well there, it will be
introduced to other markets as well.  Big Sky will "try to
capture the market dominated" by Pabst Blue Ribbon, Busch, and
Heileman's Old Style.  Ads asking WI beer drinkers to "Think Big"
were created by Young & Rubicam in Chicago (James Causey,
MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 6/20).
          PEPSI IN POLAND: PepsiCo plans to double their
     investment in Poland to $500M by the year 2000 (FINANCIAL
     TIMES, 6/20)....Sbarro announced they are switching their
     591 company-owned U.S. stores to PepsciCo products from
     Coca-Cola (BLOOMBERG BUSINESS NEWS, 6/20).
