PATS TICKET LAWSUIT UPHELD, BUT JUDGE WILLING TO COMPROMISE

MA Appeals Court Judge Frederick Brown denied a motion by
Patriots attorney Paul Robertson to overturn a previous
injunction against the team prohibiting them from quintupling the
price of certain tickets, according to the BOSTON GLOBE. Paul
Langner notes that last March, Norfolk Superior Court Judge
Thomas Connolly "enjoined" the Pats from raising the prices of
the "chairback tickets" from $500 to $2,500. The complaint was
filed by six ticket agencies who stated Pats Owner Bob Kraft had
"broken his word and tradition." While the request was denied,
Robertson can reconsider his decision (Paul Langner, BOSTON
GLOBE, 5/12).
