MEDIA NOTES

     In Boston, Kevin Paul Dupont reports that even though ESPN
hockey analyst Mike Milbury turned down an offer to coach the
Kings earlier this year, the Kings are expected to make another
run at him this summer.  If Milbury is offered enough money,
Dupont thinks he will take the job (BOSTON GLOBE, 4/23).
Meanwhile, former Kings Coach Barry Melrose, who preceded Milbury
in the "Hockey Night" analyst chair, was asked by ESPN's Steve
Levy if a seat should be "kept warm" for him in the studio.
Melrose:  "Yeah, keep one right next to you.  Actually, I have no
plans -- I'm going to relax for a while" ("SportsCenter,"
4/21)....NBC's Bob Costas, noting that last night's key Denver-
Sacramento game would ba carried on TNT:  "You have our
permission to watch it, provided you tape 'Sea Quest' and don't
fast forward through the commercials" ("NBA on NBC,"
4/22)....InfiNet L.C. has formed an alliance with CBS to help the
network bring its more than 200 affiliates onto the Internet.
InfiNet will help create home sites for each station (INSIDE
MEDIA ONLINE, 4/21)....New Heat radio partner WINZ will carry six
home games of Miami's Arena Football League team, the Hooters
(MIAMI HERALD, 4/21).....Chicago all-sports radio station WMVP
five-year deal for the rights to the White Sox and Bulls was
worth over $32M.  The deal includes a five-year option (INSIDE
MEDIA ONLINE, 4/20).
