RAIDERS MAY HAVE NEW HOME PENDING RAMS DECISION

The Raiders are waiting for the league's decision today on
the Rams move to St. Louis to see if they can move into a new
stadium at Hollywood Park. The Raiders and Hollywood Park have
reached an agreement on a plan to build a $200M stadium at the
Inglewood, CA, race track. Sources tell the L.A. TIMES that if
the Rams' move is approved by the league, the Hollywood Park
issue would also be raised and "likely approved." If this
happens, an announcement on the new stadium could come "as soon
as" Friday, with construction beginning "no earlier" than
September. However, if the move is denied and the Rams opt to
leave without league approval, then it is "unclear" how the
Raiders' Hollywood Park plans would be affected (John Cherwa,
L.A. TIMES, 4/12).
