     The ESPN Chilton Sports Poll surveyed 14,824 U.S. residentsover a 13-month period (Jan. 4, 1994-Jan. 23, 1995) in an attemptto quantify the NFL's most avid fans.  "Avid fans" wereidentified by asking respondents to place themselves on a scaleof 0-10, where zero is "not a fan at all" and 10 is a "supersports fan."  The following are demographic breakdowns ofrespondents who answered 8-10:
