EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

     DAN PATIN has been promoted to Dir of Production for
SportsCom West, a new division of Prime Sports created to handle
West Coast production for the network's parent company, Liberty
Sports....Home Team Sports has named TED EWANCIW as its
Communications Manager (GOULD MEDIA, 1/24). ....ROGER NEWTON has
been named Exec Dir of the Palladium Arena in Ottawa.  The
facility is expected to open in January, 1996 (TORONTO STAR,
1/25)....The Portland Pride of the CISL have named RANDY NORDLOFF
as their GM.  Nordloff had been director of athletics at Portland
State University (Pride)....JOHN WALKER, who had been in charge
of player agent certification for the NFLPA, was dismissed this
week for "gross misuse of funds totaling between $80,000 and
$100,000" (N.Y. TIMES, 1/25).
