RAPTORS CLOSE DEAL ON TRAINING CAMP, MERCHANDISE HOT

The Raptors announced that Hamilton's Copps Coliseum will be
the site of the team's first training camp and could host up to
four home games during the team's inaugural season. In other
news, licensed material for the Raptors and the Grizzlies have
boosted the NBA's Canadian market to upwards of $100M, according
to NBA business officials. That is an increase from the $75M
last year, but not "nearly as much as the doubling that the
league was hoping for" (Chris Young, TORONTO STAR, 12/17).
