EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

     JOHN KOSNER has been named VP/Program Planning and
Development of Sports Illustrated TV. Kosner, 34, had been
VP/Broadcasting of the NBA since '91 (SITV)....MARGO HALLE has
been named Director/Production, CBS Sports.  Halle will oversee
budgets for CBS Sports broadcasts and act as liaison to CBS
Sports production and operations departments. She will continue
as planner/coordinator for CBS' coverage of the '98 Winter
Olympics in Nagano.  BOB MATINA is the new Coordinating Dir of
CBS Sports.  Matina will also continue as Coordinating Dir for
the '98 Winter Olympics in Nagano (CBS Sports)....GARY STEVENSON
has been named COO of The Golf Channel.  Stevenson was formerly
Executive VP of Business Affairs for the PGA Tour (PGA Tour).
