NHL RELEASES ITS VERSION OF HOCKEY'S ECONOMICS

     In conjunction with Commissioner Gary Bettman's announcementthat the NHL Board of Governors had rejected the NHLPA's mostrecent proposal, the NHL released a detailed statement comparingthe league and the union proposals and outlining the league'sfinancial condition:        PERCENT INCREASE/DECREASE FROM 1989-90 TO 1993-94     (The '93-94 numbers are based on preliminary estimates)

TNT’s Stan Van Gundy, ESPN’s Tim Reed, NBA Playoffs and NFL Draft

On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews. The first is with TNT’s Stan Van Gundy as he breaks down the NBA Playoffs from the booth.
