Wasserman Acquires Spanish Football Agency Top Value

Wasserman has acquired Spanish football player representation firm Top Value, an agency with about 150 clients, as part of an ongoing effort to boost its global soccer business. Financial details were not disclosed. Top Value owners Federico Marco Escamilla, Hector Macia Mateo and Ramon Montaña Munoz will each join Wasserman as Co-Heads of Global Football. All 16 employees of the Valencia-based agency will also be joining Wasserman and will continue to work in Spain. Clients of the agency include Miguel Gutierrez, Portu, Ander Barrenetxea, Vicente Iborra, Jaume Doménech, and Antonio Sivera. This is Wasserman's latest acquisition of a soccer player rep firm after purchasing U.K.-based Key Sports in March.
