FIFA is releasing a new service which will let soccer fans watch "full match replays of 30 classic games from the World Cup and Women’s World Cup" (CHRONICLE LIVE, 3/20).

Scottish Premiership side Celtic CEO Peter Lawwell has called for the governing bodies in Scottish soccer to find a "fair and reasonable solution" to conclude the '19-20 season as he made it clear his team would "not support the campaign being voided" (THE SCOTSMAN, 3/19).

Leading League Championship clubs are "considering a radical plan to cap player wages" at £6,000 ($6,955) a week, as panic "starts to take hold over the suspended season" (London TELEGRAPH, 3/20). 

The French Professional Football League will allow beIN Sports and Canal+ to re-air "all Ligue 1 matches from the last 10 seasons" to help make up for matches lost due to coronavirus (LE PARISIEN, 3/20). 

The French Online Gaming Authority will "expand its list of legal gambling competitions" to help revive sportsbooks hurt by coronavirus cancellations (LE MONDE, 3/20).  

Brazilian soccer clubs "joined the fight against coronavirus by offering their stadiums and training grounds to authorities." Bahia, Athletico Paranaense and Sao Paulo are among the clubs who made the offer (REUTERS, 3/19).

National Rugby League side New Zealand Warriors "committed to staying" in the league and remaining in Australia for games amid the coronavirus pandemic (NEW ZEALAND HERALD, 3/20).

The Women's Korean Basketball League decided on Friday to "scrap the rest of the regular season, which had been on hold since March 10" (YONHAP, 3/20).
