HBO's "Real Sports" Looks At Japan's Recovery From '11 Quake

Tuesday night's episode of HBO's "Real Sports," which will debut at 10:00 pm ET, features a segment -- "The Reconstruction Games" -- on Japan's prep for the '20 Tokyo Games, as well as a profile of Fox Sports' Erin Andrews and a feature on Kobe Bryant

The Japan feature starts by remembering the devastating March '11 earthquake and tsunami that struck Fukushima. It quickly transitions to the efforts made by the host nation of this summer's Games to decontaminate that area.

Reporter David Scott says that the nation "rejoiced" when it was awarded the Games, and added that Japanese leaders view this summer as a chance to "show the world that the nation was healed… and whole." Scott interviews Kazunori Tanaka, the minister in charge of rebuilding Fukushima for the Japanese government, among other Japanese officials, addressing the question of how effectively the Fukushima area has been decontaminated.
