Australia's Tabcorp To Carry NBA Games In Pubs, Betting Shops

Australian betting firm Tabcorp inked a deal with the NBA to broadcast games Down Under. The NBA's 24-hour TV channel will be beamed into more than 4,400 pubs, bars and TAB betting shops. Individual games will be streamed over TAB's apps. Australian basketball fans will "still be able to watch NBA games on ESPN via Foxtel, or on the NBA's paid online steaming products." Tabcorp last month signed a broadcast and betting deal with the NFL (SYDNEY MORNING HERALD, 10/22).

Tabcorp was also named the NBA's authorized betting operator in Australia. See more about that deal in today's Morning Buzz.
