A United Front

Arsenal supporters groups "united to express their dismay" at the way club Owner Stan Kroenke is running the club and urged him to make “new and dynamic appointments” to reinvigorate a club that "feels like an investment vehicle." In a combined statement on behalf of 14 separate supporter groups, the signatories said that Arsenal fans have "never felt more marginalised," questioned whether the club's board is "fit for purpose" and called on Kroenke to explain how he intends to get the club "winning major trophies again" (London GUARDIAN, 7/15). Arsenal has not won the EPL since '04 and the '19-20 season will be its third in a row without Champions League soccer (ESPN.com, 7/15).
