U.S. Soccer inks Spanish-language audio deal

U.S. Soccer has signed a multiyear agreement making Fútbol de Primera its official Spanish-language audio rights partner. Under the deal, terms of which were not disclosed, FDP will hold the rights to U.S. men’s and women’s team friendly matches, Concacaf Nations League group stage matches, the SheBelieves Cup, the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and the National Soccer HOF induction ceremony in the U.S. and its territories and possessions, including Puerto Rico. The partnership will begin tomorrow with FDP’s live coverage of the inaugural Allstate Continental Clásico, a match between the USMNT and Mexico at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz. The Spanish-language soccer audio network's portfolio of rights also includes the FIFA World Cup and Concacaf Gold Cup. Its content is available on affiliate radio stations across the country, as well as via streaming platforms and podcasts.
