The PGA Tour Barracuda Championship, which tees off tomorrow, will be the “first PGA Tour event to accept cryptocurrency payments.” Fans can “purchase tickets, hospitality and sponsorship packages with over 300 different cryptocurrency options” (RENO GAZETTE JOURNAL, 7/13).

U.S. Soccer has hired TurnkeyZRG to lead its search for a successor to outgoing CEO Will Wilson. The federation announced last month that Wilson will step down at the end of October to “pursue new professional ventures and opportunities" (Alex Silverman, SBJ).

A group comprised of 100 Big Ten student-athletes, coaches, administrators, conference staff, and other stakeholders from across the conference will participate in the Big Life Series: Selma to Montgomery, July 15-17, 2022. The trip will take the group to the two Alabama cities that were centers of the civil rights movement. The group also will include student-athletes, coaches, and administrators from the ACC and Pac-12 (Big Ten).
