Sportradar to help BTN relaunch OTT service

Big Ten Network will use Sportradar to relaunch its direct-to-consumer subscription service, B1G+. This move is part of Sportradar’s strategy to get deeper into college sports, coming more than six months after it acquired Synergy Sports. Deal terms have Sportradar providing the tech to allow the network to manage the OTT service, which will have 1,500 live-streamed events, plus football and basketball games on video-on-demand that previously were carried on its linear TV network. Sportradar also has integrity-focused deals with the ACC and America East Conference.
