Celtics, Pistons, Nuggets Latest In NBA To Unveil Uniforms

The Celtics’ City Edition jerseys feature a “design that mirrors their championship banners.” The uniform “has the words ‘Boston Celtics’ on the front and the font is the same one used in the 17 title banners hanging in the rafters at TD Garden” (NBCSPORTSBOSTON.com, 11/20).

Meanwhile, the Pistons’ new jersey features the team’s “palette of red, white and blue and has ‘Motor City’ and ‘Detroit, Michigan’ in white writing around the player’s number.” There is “red trim around the jersey,” which is a “cleaner variation from last season” (DETROIT NEWS, 11/20).

The Nuggets released the third and latest version of their City Edition jerseys, and the latest model "alters the primary colors of two previous designs inspired by the classic 'Rainbow Skyline' uniforms of the 1980s and early 90s." The uniform features gold and "flatirons red" (DENVER POST, 11/20).
