Fans Quarantined After Possible Exposure At Chiefs Game

The K.C. Health Department has "told 10 fans to quarantine after possibly being exposed to COVID-19" at Thursday's Texans-Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium. The health department said that a "person who watched the game from the group’s box tested positive the day after the game." The Chiefs in a statement said that the "organization worked closely with the health department to provide the information" for contact tracing (K.C. STAR, 9/17).

Meanwhile, a source said that tests on all Texans and Chiefs "players, coaches and team employees from Week 1 came back negative this week." These were the "first tests to come back from the regular season" (ESPN.com, 9/17). The NFL had a total of two players and five staff test positive for all of Sept. 6-12.
