ESPN Likely Making Levy "MNF" Voice With Griese, Riddick

ESPN is "closing in" on its new announce team for "MNF," and it "will feature Steve Levy, Brian Griese and Louis Riddick," according to sources. Griese "isn’t as big a name" as Tony Romo or Peyton Manning, but he and Levy "have worked together for a long time." Riddick will "receive a crack at the MNF booth" after he has "publicly lobbied for the job for years." ESPN "thought about Dan Orlovsky" for one of the analyst roles, but he and Marcus Spears are a "good combo that could perk up the daily attention on 'NFL Live'” (N.Y. POST, 7/31).
