Monumental Sports & Entertainment today announced a series of initiatives, actions, and investments which the company is making to advance a broad community conversation towards policy maker action on police brutality and fighting social injustice (MSE).

The Univ. of Texas athletic department announced today that 13 new football players have "tested positive or are presumed positive for COVID-19, while 10 more are asymptomatic and in self-quarantine" (USA TODAY, 6/18).

The Univ. of Florida will "no longer use the 'Gator Bait' cheer" at sporting events, citing the "racist imagery associated with the phrase as the primary reason behind the decision" (GAINESVILLE.com, 6/18).

ELP Brands, a holding company focused on companies at the intersection of fashion, sports and entertainment, has acquired the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL), the largest pro development league in North America. The UPSL, which was founded in '11 by former Mexican semi-pro soccer player Leonel Lopez, has more than 300 teams across 32 states (Mark J. Burns, THE DAILY).
