MLB Rolling Out "Opening Day At Home" Initiative

Tomorrow will not serve as MLB’s Opening Day as originally scheduled, but the league instead will present "Opening Day at Home," a full slate of 30 games nationally available across various platforms, including digital streaming and social media. MLB wants the full-day event to enable fans to feel a sense of community and unity on what had been billed as the season's original start date while also underscoring the importance of staying home and healthy amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Using the hashtag #OpeningDayAtHome, fans can connect with each other while watching their team's selected game at a set time. MLB's event will be available across many of the league's platforms and partners, including MLB's multiple Facebook pages (MLB/Las Mayores), Twitter accounts (MLB/Las Mayores/Cut 4), YouTube channels (MLB/MLB Vault), MLB.com and MLB.tv. What's more, all games part of tomorrow’s event will be streaming on the winning club's respective home page.
