A's Shift All Audio To TuneIn App, With No Local Radio Partner

The A's this season "will, for the first time, include no Bay Area radio station," as the team is "moving all of its audio content to TuneIn." The A's were on the free app last year, in addition to local outlet KTRB-AM, a "conservative talk-show station that drew numerous complaints from the fanbase for its non-baseball programming." The team "did talk with local outlets about coverage this season, but finding stations with a strong enough signal willing to air 162 games, many during drive time, always has proven to be difficult" (S.F. CHRONICLE, 2/18).
