Blackhawks Film Highlights Women's Hockey Star Coyne Schofield

Blackhawks TV and Chicago-based digital content studio Banner, a spin-off from the team’s in-house production group, produced a new feature about U.S. women’s hockey F and PWHPA member Kendall Coyne Schofield that debuted today on the team website. The 20-minute Blackhawks Originals film about the Chicago native, dubbed “As Fast As Her,” highlights Coyne Schofield’s journey to Gold at the '18 Pyeongchang Games and discusses her role in spreading hockey to young girls. NBC Sports Chicago will air "As Fast as Her" three times over the next four days, while NBCSN will broadcast a two-minute snippet from the film during Friday’s All-Star Skills Competition. At All-Star Weekend last year in San Jose, Coyne Schofield became the first woman to participate in the Skills Competition. In St. Louis on Friday, she will participate in a women's 3-on-3 game.

Meanwhile, Coyne Schofield also appears in a new Dunkin' ad campaign alongside Bruins RW David Pastrnak titled, "Talkin' Hockey with Pasta and Kendall." The campaign was developed by BBDO N.Y. Dunkin' is the NHL's official donut and breakfast sandwich.
