Strong Ticket Demand For LSU-'Bama, But Well Below '11 Game

The average resale price of a ticket to Saturday's LSU-Alabama game in Tuscaloosa is $499, making it the fourth most in-demand regular-season college football game of the season, according to SeatGeek data. September's Notre Dame-Georgia contest led the way at $652, followed by LSU-Texas at $580 and Oklahoma-Texas at $551. Saturday's game is not nearly as hot a ticket as the '11 LSU-Alabama game, which was also a No. 1 vs. No. 2 matchup at Bryant-Denny Stadium. That game saw an average resale price of $681. The announcement that President Trump was attending this weekend's contest has had little perceptible impact on ticket demand. Saturday's get-in price is about $400.
