Reigning NBA Champion Raptors Line Up Pregame Festivities

The Raptors are hosting a "free Home Opener Tailgate Party in Jurassic Park" ahead of tonight's home opener against the Pelicans. The "newer and enlarged outdoor screen" in the area outside Scotiabank Arena "will give those in attendance an up-close look at the raising of the championship banner and the pregame ceremony, including the doling out of the rings." Festivities also will include the "official unveiling of the Raptors Way signs." Inside the arena, the 19,800 fans expected to be on hand are "asked to be in their seats no later" than 7:15pm ET for the pregame ceremony. Doors open at 6:00 pm (TORONTO SUN, 10/22).
