SoFi CEO Eyes "Elevated Presence" From L.A. Stadium Deal

SoFi CEO Anthony Noto said his company's newly announced deal for L.A. stadium naming rights can “bring our brand to life,” as the NFL's “national telecasts will drive our needed brand awareness.” Noto: “It’s less than 5% of our overall spending. ... Not only is it important strategically, it’s not that big relative to our overall spend. And most critically, we have plenty of capital to do this and so many other things.” Noto added he has 100% “support” from the company’s BOD, which “understood the importance of a financial services brand having such trust." He added, "This was a unique opportunity for us to drive greater efficiency in our marketing dollars and have such an elevated presence in the financial world, and sports and live entertainment more broadly” (“Squawk Alley,” CNBC, 9/16).
