Discount Tire Signs Multiyear Extension With Team Penske

Discount Tire has signed a multiyear partnership renewal with Team Penske. The exact length and financial terms were not revealed for the deal, but Team Penske said the Arizona-based company will move from 10 to 15 primaries annually starting next season on Brad Keselowski’s No. 2 Ford in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. Discount will also continue as an associate of multiple cars across the team’s operations in NASCAR and IndyCar.

Fellow No. 2 primary sponsor Miller Lite has reduced its presence with the team in recent years, going down to sponsoring 11 races as primary after having closer to double that in the past. Discount will continue utilizing Penske drivers for in-store appearances, one of the hallmarks of its activation plans during its time with the team.
