NFL Unveiling Redesigned Fantasy App During HOF Game

The NFL will unveil a redesigned fantasy football app during tonight’s Broncos-Falcons HOF Game in Canton. Chief among the free app’s new features is the ability to watch live games within the app, while still playing fantasy football, a capability that has historically required two separate screens or devices. That new feature will not kick in until the NFL’s regular season. Two commercials touting the remade NFL app’s capabilities will air during tonight's game. In both commercials, a fictional NFL agent tries to convince a fantasy football player to pick the NFL’s fantasy football game, and app.

The commercials highlight the sweepstakes and rewards that players using the new-look NFL fantasy app can win. The app is already available for download in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, and sports a new logo that does not include the NFL’s traditional shield. Other new features include app-first vertical video from NFL fantasy experts to help players manage their fantasy teams, and the incorporation of NextGen stats into individual player profiles.
