Golf Channel Set To Air Two-Part Ben Hogan Biography

Golf Channel tonight at 9:00pm ET airs the first installment of "Hogan," the two-part biography of late World Golf HOFer Ben Hogan. The film is a "tribute to Hogan's talent and his fiercely competitive nature but also acknowledges his remote personality and the air of mystery that continues to surround the manner of his success." Tonight's first installment looks at his early years and concluding with the 1949 car crash that "nearly killed Hogan" (CHRON.com, 6/14). Golf Channel "tackles some tough topics," such as Hogan's "childhood difficulties, including his dad's struggles with depression and subsequent suicide." Part 2 airs tomorrow at 9:00pm (THEPOSTGAME.com, 6/15).
