New Balance Rolls Out Kawhi Leonard Billboard In Oakland

New Balance on Friday morning unveiled a new billboard in Oakland showing a "completely unbothered" Raptors F Kawhi Leonard, "staring back with his arms folded in front of him." Beside Leonard is a "hit list of Orlando, Philadelphia and Milwaukee crossed out over his shoulder with Golden State listed next in the crosshairs" (SPORTS.YAHOO.com, 5/31).

New Balance also unveiled a variety of "King Of The North" billboards in Toronto, and the company will honor Leonard by giving away crowns prior to Sunday's NBA Finals Game 2 at Scotiabank Arena. Starting at 12:00pm ET on Sunday, New Balance will announce specific locations where street teams will distribute crowns, and fans on Saturday can print out their own crowns on newbalance.ca. Also, New Balance next week will re-release its Leonard-themed "Fun Guy" apparel, including T-shirts and hoodies (New Balance).
