12th Annual Sports Business Awards: Tonight's The Night!

SBJ is all set for the 12th annual Sports Business Awards tonight in N.Y., where a who's who of execs, thought leaders and influencers are on hand to celebrate the industry's best. A crowd of nearly 850 is expected for the event at the Marriott Marquis. The Master of Ceremonies for the evening is CBS Sports' Tracy Wolfson, with SI Now host and Eagles team reporter Amy Campbell as red carpet host. ESPN’s Hannah Storm and NFL Network’s Kay Adams will serve as key presenters.

Just a few of the expected attendees: Adam SilverStephanie McMahonJimmy PitaroGeorge PyneStacey Allaster, Peter Feigin, Oliver Luck, Tony Ponturo and Gillian Zucker. Former PGA Tour Commissioner Tim Finchem will accept the Lifetime Achievement Award after being introduced by his successor, Jay Monahan. The event comes in the midst of Leaders Week in N.Y., with Leaders hosting its flagship four-day conference. This year's SBAs are the first under Leaders Group, the new operating company that includes SBJ, Leaders, Newzoo and Esports Observer.

A live stream of the red carpet, including interviews, will be available at SportsBusinessDaily.com from 5:45-6:45pm ET, with the awards program set to begin at 7:50. Later in the show, we hear from ESPN’s VP of Programming and Acquisitions Tim Reed as the NFL Draft gets set to kick off on Thursday night in Motown.
