Award-winning veteran TV sports producer Gary Lang died April 21 of natural causes. He was 53. Lang worked for CBS Sports and Fox Sports during a career that saw him win 17 Sports Emmy awards. He started with CBS Sports in '91 before moving over to help launch Fox Sports in '94 (John Ourand, THE DAILY).

UConn students next fall "will be able to attend all home sporting events for free." Students will "gain admission to football, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, and men’s hockey by swiping their student ID cards and will continue to enter without cost at other, non-ticketed events" (COURANT.com, 5/2).

Greg Norman will be a brand ambassador for Delta Private Jets in '19. The airline will launch a campaign this summer across print, digital and social, in addition to golf tournaments and select events (Greg Norman Co.).

FS1 will air the Triple-A national championship on Sept. 17 at 8:00pm ET. The game also will be available to stream on the Fox Sports app (Fox Sports).
