WWE Expects 70,000-Plus At MetLife Stadium For WrestleMania

WrestleMania returns to MetLife Stadium on Sunday night, headlined by a women's match for the first time, and WWE Exec VP/Special Events John Saboor said the organization "expects a robust attendance in more than 70,000 fans from 50 states and 40 countries." When MetLife hosted WrestleMania six years ago, the "event drew 80,676 attendees." In addition to airing on PPV, the event will be streamed to WWE Network subscribers at "no extra cost." Saboor: "WrestleMania is our Super Bowl. It's where everything taking place in the WWE universe converges" (NORTH JERSEY RECORD, 4/5).
