Texas Motor Speedway Partners With Delivery Service Favor

Texas Motor Speedway announced a new agreement with Austin-based Favor Delivery, potentially the first deal in NASCAR with a company in the burgeoning food delivery category. Terms were not disclosed for the deal, which will grant Favor official partner status at the track and advertising space to tout its product. Favor delivers food from restaurants on demand -- like competitors UberEats and DoorDash -- but also delivers other items like groceries and clothing. Favor launched in ’13 and now operates in more than 50 cities in Texas. As part of the deal, a Favor “runner” will deliver the green flag and trophies to the flag stand and victory lane for all of the SMI-owned track’s races this weekend.
