MLB Brings Back "Let The Kids Play" Theme In New Ad

MLB is following up its “Let The Kids Play” promo from last postseason with a new ad that again encourages players to showcase their individual personalities. “Let The Kids Play 2.0,” being released to promote tomorrow’s Opening Day, features Angels CF Mike Trout and P/DH Shohei Ohtani, Yankees OFs Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton, Brewers RF Christian Yelich, Indians SS Francisco Lindor and Braves LF Ronald Acuna Jr., among others. Astros 3B Alex Bregman plays a particularly crucial role in the spot, using the simulated press conference setting to break through a series of well-worn cliches. MLB said some of the dialogue in the spot was improvised by the individual players.
