Super Bowl MVP Julian Edelman Takes Media Victory Lap

Patriots WR Julian Edelman made the media rounds this morning after collecting his Super Bowl MVP award, appearing on ABC, CBS and NBC’s morning shows. Edelman said of QB Tom Brady, "He’s the greatest of all-time and it’s been an honor to get to play with him” (“CBS This Morning,” 2/4). He went on to say the “grind of a football season is so mentally and physically and emotionally exhausting, especially after playing a game like that. I’m really just tired and just want to go home and relax on the couch” (“Today,” NBC, 2/4). When asked to rank this Super Bowl victory, his third, Edelman said, “They’re like children, you love them all the same” (“GMA,” ABC, 2/4).
