Fuzzy's Vodka Exiting IndyCar Deals With Ed Carpenter, IMS

Fuzzy’s Vodka is not renewing its full-season deal with IndyCar Series team Ed Carpenter Racing or its pact with Indianapolis Motor Speedway, a sizable blow for the team but one that might be mitigated through a unique arrangement. Fuzzy’s had a significant presence in Indianapolis in May, including signage and selling its spirits throughout the track, which is now in the hunt for a new spirits partner. The specific size of the deals is not known.

Fuzzy’s former co-owner and ECR investor Stuart Reed has recently left that company, which is believed to have played a part in Fuzzy’s move away from racing, but Reed is expected to continue to help fund ECR’s operation. IndyCar CEO Mark Miles told THE DAILY, "We believe (Reed) will continue to invest in IndyCar and Ed Carpenter Racing."
