Hawks Welcome Fans For First Game At Revamped Arena

The Hawks tonight host the Mavericks in the first regular-season game at the "remade" State Farm Arena, and one of the "biggest changes" fans will see is that the suite stack is no longer there. In its place are "two levels of suites (there are now 40 suites, down from 90)" as well as "new upper-deck general seating." The new center-hung video board, "manufactured and installed" by Samsung subsidiary Prismview, is "massive." The "redesigned concourses connect a series of new restaurants and concession stands" (ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION, 10/24).

Chick-fil-A has a branded Fan Zone at the new arena, consisting of 1,093 seats and custom cow-themed branding. The longtime Hawks sponsor also will bring back several in-game activations (Hawks).
