FC Cincinnati Unveils Initial Plans For $250M West End Stadium

Incoming MLS club FC Cincinnati "released several images of the club's initial concept designs for its soon-to-be-built West End Stadium." The $250M venue will "have 25,000 to 26,000 seats, more than originally planned." The renderings and site plan, designed by Meis Architects, were "approved by club ownership on Friday and will be shown publicly for the first time tonight when they are presented to the West End Community Council's executive committee." The stadium's canopy roof is "designed to go around the entire stadium bowl and completely cover all seating rows" (CINCINNATI.com, 10/9).
