Minnesota Football Season-Ticket Sales Down A Tick

Univ. of Minnesota football season-ticket sales are down slightly in Year 2 of the P.J. Fleck era compared to '17. The school on Friday announced the total “has dipped 726” from 21,131 a year ago to 20,405 through Aug. 2. TCF Bank Stadium averaged 44,358 fans per game last season, and while UM AD Mark Coyle was “encouraged by the overall increase in attendance,” he wants to “push the mark closer to … capacity of 50,805” (TWINCITIES.com, 8/10).
